A small amount of your blood is drawn and placed in a centrifuge. This separates red blood cells from plasma rich in platelets, fibrin and growth factors. The resulting platelet-rich fibrin is re-injected into the treatment area. It may be administered via multiple micro-injections (like mesotherapy), directly into lines or wrinkles (similar to a filler), or deeper into the dermis (like a volumiser). The process is comparable in comfort to other injectables; a topical anaesthetic cream may be applied beforehand.
